Artist's Comments

The Samurai Duelers League, established by the Queen of Japan after the Civil War Period, was originally set up for entertainment and recreational purposes.

But beneath this surface of harmless fun and casual honour, the ronins are only human. As such, each fight for their own means: fame, revenge, bloodlust, ego, money, connections.

Seven Sins, a group of flawed ronins, divided in seven divisions, each one representing a sin, aim to expose these selfish ambitions of each dueler they come across. To those duelers who look down on them because of their sinful humanity, they will show no mercy in revealing their opponents' imperfect selves.

They also aim to make the more money they can, the more food, the more... well, the more the better.
